I am an occupational therapist who supports children and adolescents with diverse needs to build independence in everyday activities. I focus on practical strategies that improve participation at school, home, and in the community. My work often includes supporting young people with autism or intellectual disabilities through structured, meaningful activities that promote confidence, functional skills, and overall wellbeing.

  • Motor Skills, including fine motor skills (handwriting, cutting, drawing), gross motor skills (running, jumping, balance). hand strength and dexterity, and bilateral coordination (using both hands together)
  • Sensory Processing, including sensory regulation, tolerance to different textures, sounds, and movements, body awareness (proprioception), and attention and alertness levels
  • Self-Care / Daily Living Skills support, including supporting dressing (buttons, zippers, shoes), toileting, feeding and utensil use, and personal hygiene (brushing teeth, washing hands)
  • School Skills, including handwriting and pencil control, scissor skills, classroom participation, following instructions, and organisation and task completion
  • Cognitive & Executive Function, including planning and sequencing, problem solving, memory, attention and concentration, and time management
  • Social & Emotional Skills, including emotional regulation, turn-taking and sharing, coping strategies, confidence and independence
  • Play Skills, including imaginative play, cooperative play with peers, and game rules and participation

Practice Focus Areas

I focus on working with children, particularly those with ASD, who are supported through both the NDIS and through private funding. I provide sessions both in person and via telehealth where required.
