I am an Advanced Behaviour Support Practitioner, Clinical Supervisor and qualified Social Worker, with extensive experience across the disability, mental health and aged care sectors.

‍

I specialise in Positive Behaviour Support, complex behaviours of concern, clinical governance and practitioner development. Throughout my career, I've worked across clinical and leadership roles, developing a strong understanding of the challenges practitioners face when supporting individuals with complex needs, while balancing professional responsibilities and delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

I have a particular passion for supporting people living with dementia, with extensive training and experience in aged care and dementia-related practice. This has strengthened my understanding of the importance of individualised, compassionate approaches that recognise each person's unique needs and circumstances.

My supervision approach is collaborative, reflective and supportive, with a focus on building clinical confidence, professional capability and sound clinical reasoning. I aim to create a safe, open environment where Behaviour Support Practitioners feel comfortable discussing complex cases, exploring challenges, asking questions and reflecting on their practice.

Supervision provides an opportunity to strengthen skills in behaviour assessment, Positive Behaviour Support planning, restrictive practice considerations, clinical decision-making, documentation and navigating regulatory responsibilities. I also recognise the importance of helping practitioners manage workloads, establish professional boundaries and build sustainable, rewarding careers.
