How to Endorse a Provider in the NDIS PACE System

If your NDIS plan is managed through the new PACE system, your chosen provider must be formally endorsed before they can access your plan details and claim payments. This guide explains how to correctly endorse your provider so supports can begin without unnecessary delays.

Why Endorsement Is Important

Under the NDIS PACE system, endorsement allows your provider to:

  • Access relevant plan information
  • Deliver approved supports
  • Submit payment claims through the NDIS

Without endorsement, your provider may not be able to commence services or process claims.

Information You’ll Need

Before contacting the NDIA, make sure you have:

  • Your NDIS number
  • Your plan start date
  • Your full name
  • Your date of birth
  • Your provider’s:

    • Registered business name
    •
    • ABN
    •
    • NDIS Provider Number

You can obtain these details directly from your provider.

Step-by-Step: How to Endorse Your Provider

Step 1: Prepare Your Information

Have all the details listed above ready before making contact.

Step 2: Contact the NDIA

You can endorse your provider by:

  • Calling the NDIS on 1800 800 110, or
  • Speaking with your Local Area Coordinator (LAC), Planner, or Early Childhood Partner

Step 3: What to Say

You can use the script below when calling:

“Hello, my name is[Your Full Name], and I am an NDIS participant. My NDIS number is [Your NDIS Number], and my plan is managed through the new PACE system. I would like to endorse [Provider Name] (ABN [Provider ABN], NDIS Provider Number [Provider Number]) as my provider for [e.g. Positive Behaviour Support / Occupational Therapy / Physiotherapy / Support Coordination]. Please use the start date of my current plan as the endorsement start date. Can you please confirm when this has been completed?”

Step 4: Confirm the Endorsement

Before ending the call:

  • Ask for confirmation that the endorsement has been processed
  • Record the date and (if possible) the name of the NDIA staff member
  • Notify your provider once it has been completed

Need Support?

If you’re unsure about any part of the endorsement process, your provider should be able to guide you through it. The endorsement process is designed to ensure your supports are delivered smoothly and in line with your NDIS plan — so you can focus on achieving your goals.
